Recipe: Chicken Nuggets

A while ago I made chicken nuggets for S's tea, and a few people asked me for the recipe.

I'm rubbish at cooking, and really quite lazy. So these are stupidly easy. What you need is:

Some chicken
Some milk
Some paprika (optional)
Some flour
A chicken or veggie stock cube (optional)
Some breadcrumbs

Here's what you do.

I usually do this first part in the morning, after breakfast.
Chop your chicken up into whatever sized nuggets you want. Put them in a bowl or container, and cover them in milk. Then if you feel like it, sprinkle some paprika in and swish it about a bit.

Then you put the lid on it, and put it in the fridge for the day.

When you feel like cooking dinner, come back and take the container out of the fridge.

In another bowl/container, put some flour, and maybe some breadcrumbs and a stock cube - or really whatever you want to use to flavour your nuggets.

One by one, take the nuggets out of the milk and put them into the flour and swoosh them about a bit. When they're coated, take them out and put them on a plate ready to be cooked.

And now... put them in a pan with some oil, and cook them.

Once they're cooked, eat them.

They are very easy to make, but you get loads of mum points for not just getting the Birds Eye ones out of the freezer.

If you try these, please do share a photo and let me know how you get on with them!
