S has been learning lots of new words lately. I'm surprised on a daily basis, as she comes out with "baa" when she sees a sheep, or "dog," "tree" or "bay jay" (Baby Jake).
This morning though, she picked up one of the balls from the ball pit that are constantly roaming around our upstairs, threw it at me and shouted, "CATCH!"
This has carried on all morning, with everything vaguely ball-shaped. I should probably discourage throwing in the house, but we don't have a garden and she seems to understand (probably from nursery) that you only do little throws.
We had a lovely game of catch with her big yellow sensory ball this morning. It's perfect for this because it's so big but also easy for her to catch. And when she catches it, her face really is a picture.
This is one word I'm really enjoying!
I wonder what the next word will be...
I love hearing about all these new words, this word sounds like so much fun. Lets hope she doesn't get her hands on anything too heavy!
